2-Signature Bomb Hand crafted solid mahogany replica of Little Boy a limited edition series of 82 pieces! This exact detail model is signed by Brigadier General Paul W Tibbets, Pilot of the Enola Gay, and Major Theodore "Dutch" Van Kirk, Navigator. Also included on base of model is a specifications data plate, a small membrane box containing trinite samples as well as an information plate on the trinite. The model is protected by a clear hard plastic cover. The Little Boy Atomic Bomb Replica is a 1/12 scale model and is approximately 10 inches long; the hand crafted mahogany base is 16 1/2 inches long. The bomb replica itself is steel blue in color and is built to exacting detail from original drawings. There is a clear plastic cover which enhances its presentation as well as protects your investment from dust. A metal data plate provides key statistics about the Little Boy bomb and the model is individually hand signed by Brigadier General Paul Tibbets, the Commanding Officer of the 509th Composite Group and the pilot of the Enola Gay on its historic mission to Hiroshima, Japan on August 6, 1945. In addition, the bomb replica has been hand signed by Theodore "Dutch" Van Kirk, the navigator on the Enola Gay. The signatures on this item are guaranteed to be authentic and the model comes with a certificate of authenticity. |
